the first Tommy Starsson MUSIC tune (for a trailer)

So the first song or music piece, made by Tommy Starsson MUSIC is now online. I made a trailer for the upcoming movie "the last of the fallen roses", and made the music for it. 

In case you are wondering, I made the track on garageband (on my ipad!). Yes, it took a few hours, being tone deaf and all, it wasn't easy, but I think it works sort of great with the video footage. 




So this is a one man project I have started. It is featured on Tommy Starsson FILM. And it is about giving one man shows. No I don't mean that in a kinky way. But a nice and creative way. Basically for this movie that I am working on slowly (since my main concern is working on "the deserters"), I am doing everything. I mean I am the only actor, I am the director, I wrote the script, I edit, I colorgrade, I even make the music for it. 

The idea is to try and make something creative and complex like a movie on my own. I love working with agnosCinema projects, but this is my way of dealing with that need to do everything myself. To have that creativity completely by myself. 

I really have to thank Apple for making amazing software. I have been playing around with Final Cut Pro X for a couple of months now, and I am just amazed at how simple it is to make advanced color grading. And also to do all of this, without any software bugs that used to annoy me like crazy on my PC.

Hello and welcome to my
Music blog. Next year I will
be making music (again)

When I was about 18 years old I did a lot of weird things. But one thing that I truly believed in was music making. I was very much into Eminem and rap music. But I turned out that my music made people laugh. And I guess I didn't feel like continuing. You hopefully understand.

I could have continued, because I did notice that my music became better and better. But I think that the biggest problem was that I was expecting stardom and riches very early. And didn't really make the music for the fun of it. 

Today it's very different. Today I have these ideas in my head, certain melodies. And also with my movie making I would like to be able to add my own music. Because, I am also starting a new project next year that about... you know what, never mind, I will present it fully when needed.

Today I just wanted to share that I am getting into music again. But don't expect greatness, because even I don't.
